Connect Google Drive
Find and work with files your connected Google account can access.

connect your account#
- Open Plugins, choose Add connection, and select Google Drive.
- Choose personal or workspace access if offered. A workspace connection may be available to other authorized members.
- Follow the connection flow, sign in with Google, and review the permissions requested by Puffle.
- Complete Google's authorization and return to Plugins. Refresh if needed and confirm the connected account.
Puffle's official Google connector uses Google OAuth and the product API. A normal connection uses Puffle's configured OAuth app. If the app asks for OAuth client details instead, contact your workspace administrator or support to check the connection configuration. Never paste client secrets or access tokens into chat.
understand the requested access#
Puffle requests read access to existing Drive files and per-file access for files created by or otherwise authorized for Puffle. It can search files, read metadata and content, export supported files, and create or update app-authorized files. This does not grant unrestricted write access to your entire Drive.
Relevant Google content is processed by Puffle and the AI provider serving your task. Content can be retained in task records and enabled diagnostics. Review Google data handling and data controls and deletion.
verify access#
Find the launch brief in my connected Google Drive and summarize its milestones. Do not modify any files.
Confirm that the result comes from the expected account. Access is limited by the connected account, granted provider permissions, and Puffle’s tool rules.
resolve a setup problem#
For a redirect mismatch, compare the provider’s registered callback with the exact value in Puffle. For a blocked or unverified app, ask the app administrator to check the OAuth consent configuration, requested permissions, and any Google Workspace administrator restrictions. Repeating sign-in cannot fix missing app configuration.
Use the account’s removal control in Plugins to disconnect saved access. Review your Google Account connections to revoke provider access. Disconnecting does not automatically delete content already processed by Puffle. See data controls and deletion to request removal of retained data. See Connection troubleshooting for additional help.
